This small cake-shaped container uses an iris mechanism similar to a camera shutter to open and close the lid. Instead of removing a top piece, the opening is created by several rotating blades that move together, revealing the compartment inside.
Designed as a fun decorative container with a playful pastry look, the strawberries on top are not only decorative — they also help cover part of the mechanism structure. The model is composed of 14 parts and was designed for easy printing and simple assembly.
